I purchased this computer for my son for Christmas. I was a bit apprehensive to purchase a touch display for him, but I went for it. I don’t regret my choice. This computer is really compact, but powerful. I considered purchasing the MSI computer but was not obtainable. I was able to calibrate the touch display without any difficulties. Its comes with Windows XP and ASUS quick reference program, that’s worth it.I am going to upgrade this computer buying the external CD/DVD drive that’s provide here at Amazon. I do not have any complains yet, I am really happy with my purchase and my son loves it.

My old desktop was six years old and I’ve a newborn son at home so it was time to eliminate some clutter and some cords. After looking at the Gateway and HP touchscreen PCs I realized that this Lenovo is really a much better value simply because I had no need for the touch screen on those other machines. The pc is fast, has an amazing screen and great sound. I really like that the difficult drive could be accessed for replacement in case of failure. The keyboard and mouse are also fairly slick although I miss the numeric pad on the keyboard. My only complaint is that the integrated webcam isn’t any much better than a netbook. We skype with my son’s grandparents all from the time and will probably need to buy a better camera soon.

I bought this to replace a 4 year old desktop PC. My disappointment is that it’s slower than my old Dell right out of the box. You would think that with 4 gig memory it will be faster. This is probally because of the preloaded software. There are too numerous HP programs in the system.
This computer was purchased for my parents to communicate with my brother stationed in Iraq. They use the web camera and use skype to talk with him from time to time. The pc itself does what they need in a casually used pc. Love the place saving design. Research, that I checked, seems to hold true with this computer.
